PermaFlex Waterproofing Coating

SANI-TRED® PermaFlex™, is a liquid polyurethane coating that penetrates deeply into and will bond permanently to properly prepared concrete, wood, aluminum, steel, and some plastics, as well as most all other standard building materials. PermaFlex™ will never bubble, chip, peel, crack, or delaminate from vehicle traffic, exposure to extremes of ambient heat up to 250°F, or Negative Hydrostatic Pressure. PermaFlex™ is environmentally safe, safe, solvent free, non-flammable, and low VOC. PermaFlex™ is extremely durable with 2,030 psi tensile strength. PermaFlex can be brushed, rolled or even sprayed on.

Liquid Rubber Base

LRB (Liquid Rubber Base) is a self-leveling fluid rubber indoor/outdoor waterproofing membrane that will cure as tough as a truck tire, remain permanently flexible, and can be applied at any thickness! It is a fluid rubber which will cure throughout its entire volume at ANY THICKNESS in 4 hrs or less at temperature of 70° F or higher. LRB will bond permanently to properly prepare concrete, wood, aluminum, steel, and some plastics, and most other standard building materials. LRB will not blister, crack, peel, or delaminate from exposure to extremes of ambient heat or cold as low as -45°F. It will withstand extreme Hydrostatic Pressure. LRB cures reliably even in extremely cold temperatures, never produces gas during curing, and does NOT generate heat as it cures. LRB is solvent-free, low VOC, low odor, molecularly welds materials, new to old.

LRB is applied over a surface that has been first primed with PermaFlex.

LRB (Liquid Rubber Base) can be ‘catalyzed’ or ‘activated’ using plain tap water. LRB will still remain as a self-leveling fluid and will cure solid in 4 hours or less at temperatures 70°F or higher (longer in cooler temps). As a fluid, LRB can be used to create a waterproof membrane at unlimited thickness. LRB can be used to self-level or smooth out a rough horizontal surface. LRB can be used to create ‘custom poured-in-place gaskets’ or form any solid shapes in as little as 5 minutes by using special catalysts.

Once LRB has been activated with water or Thickening Activator, it has a pot life of approximately 30 minutes. Unused and non-activated portions of opened LRB containers have a usable shelf life of 4-to-6 months. SANI-TRED® LRB is available in its natural off-white color, has a fluid consistency to 90 wt. gear oil or liquid Elmer’s Glue, and can be reduced using an approved solvent.

TAV™ (Thickening Activator) gives LRB (Liquid Rubber Base) great application versatility. TAV™ (Thickening Activator) is a thick, blue colored, inert, odor-free, gel-like additive specifically designed and formulated to be blended with LRB. TAV™ affects the viscosity of LRB, transforming it from a self-leveling build into a thickened 'caulk-like' mixture for vertical, horizontal, or inverted applications without sagging, running, or slumping.

LRB/TAV™ mixture is used to patch/seal any joint, seam, crack, hole, or rough areas and profile rough areas whether vertical, horizontal or inverted.
TAV™ is mixed with LRB at a 2:1 ratio. 2 parts LRB can be mixed with 1 part TAV™ to create the thickest possible mixture. Less TAV™ can be used to create a thinner, runnier mixture.
LRB/TAV™ mixture can be applied using a zip-loc bag, putty knife, trowel, flat squeegee, or most any common application tools.
