Recently a the Family at Saved By Grace Farmhouse purchased their family a new home that needed a great deal of work. They totally remodeled the basement as a beautiful space for their family. Here it is in their own words: Ok so here’s the scoop… Everything that we did in our basement was with our own hands, sweat, and a few tears! We did NOT hire any of it out! From the floors to the ceiling and everything in between. Oh that stinking ceiling… If you don.t know me, I’m pretty small. When I say small I’m only 5′ tall! That being said my hubby and I decided to hang 12′ sheets of sheet rock on the ceiling. Just the 2 of us and a couple of ladders! I’m sure a few not so nice words and some tears came out that day! Oh and that floor. Those beautiful hardwood looking floors are {{concrete}} Yep that’s right concrete! I didn’t get very many pics of the >>major construction<< of the basement remodel, but I did manage to get the process of the floors! I will post some finished pics later! Oh and I can’t forget to mention the beautiful custom built-in cabinets, wood beams, and oh yes the chalkboard Mountains on the Playroom wall!!!
